EcoTarium Feb Vacation Engineering Week

Worcester Art Museum Workshops
The Worcester Art Museum offers full and half day workshops for ages 3 to 17 years in watercolor painting, cartooning, photography and more – starting at just $27!
Tower Hill Botanic Garden
Cure your cabin fever and connect with nature this February vacation. Create your own nature inspired graffiti art and join us for drop-in crafts, nature walks, family workshops, and more!
Get outdoors with Fruitlands this week! Opportunities on select days to get out in the fresh air with their family friendly events.
Admission is FREE in February to tour the galleries, explore the Alden Family Gallery at WHM, and to visit our largest artifact, Salisbury Mansion. On Feb. 18-21, WHM will offer CURSIVE HANDWRITING workshops from 10AM to noon, and drop-in HISTORY DETECTIVE family scavenger hunts. Registration is required for Cursive Workshops through the Museum’s website.
Celebrate National Engineers Week! Feb 15- Feb 22. Engage in some everyday engineering as you construct and create with re-purposed and recycled materials. Daily specific events listed on their website! It’s also a great week to check out their new exhibit: Toys: The Inside Story!
Old Sturbridge Village
Visitors will be treated to a festive story experience in which residents of a 19th century New England town prepare for a seasonal celebration – a winter ball, filled with “warmth and cheer!” Each trade shop, home, and business on the Village Common will be brought to life by costumed historians as they talk about how 19th- century folks would have prepared for such a lively event. February 15-23.
