Cancelled: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Annual Parade in Worcester! – 3/15!
St. Patrick’s Parade Canceled for March 15
Given the state of emergency declared today by Governor Baker and in an abundance of caution, the Worcester County St. Patrick’s Parade Committee and the City of Worcester have jointly decided to cancel the St. Patrick’s Parade and road race scheduled for Sunday, March 15.
The public health situation regarding COVID-19 will continue to be monitored and evaluated in regard to any possible options for rescheduling these events sometime in 2020.
Join Worcester on March 15 for the annual, community celebration of St. Patrick’s day, which features floats, bands, clowns, fire trucks, and other groups associated with Irish heritage and culture. Annual Parade begins at the corner of Mill and Park at 12:00pm. Finishes at the corner of Highland and Park (Elm Park).
Join the crowd of green hats and shirts and watch close to 100 floats and marching bands/groups as they parade down Park Ave. Don’t forget to wear your green! In true parade fashion, you’ll get to see a host of local heroes including firefighters, elected officials and other revelers. Enjoy many local musical groups playing along the route!
