Summer vacation is almost over! We thought we’d highlight some pretty special free events happening during the week that won’t break the bank. Savor those last couple of weeks of school vacation!

Paint by Stickers
Worcester Public Library
The Goddard, Burncoat, Tatnuck and Roosevelt branches are all hosting “Paint by Stickers” on Tuesday 8/13 from 4pm-5pm for ages 6+. Kids create a beautiful mosaic picture using number styled stickers. The theme is Dinosaurs. (While supplies last)

Hat Crafternoon
Shrewsbury Library
Stop by the on Tuesday 8/13 from 2pm-4pm to make a special hat to take home. Ages 4+.

Science PopUps
Auburn Library
Throughout the week, Auburn library is offering drop in science themed pop ups. Make space jewelry, galaxy globes, telescopes and more.  All programs are literacy based and begin with a storytime and discussion. Check the schedule here.

Toe Jam Puppet Band
Holden Library Lawn
Wednesday at 6pm on the Holden Library Lawn. This duo has a mix of music, humor, puppet and bubbles. The interactive show is fun for the whole family! Bring a picnic dinner! If raining, the show will move indoors to the Holden Senior Center.

Henna Tattoos
Frances Perkins Worcester Library
Wicked Good Henna Tattoos will be at the Frances Perkins Worcester Library on Thursday 8/15 from 2pm-4pm. Come select your favorite tattoo. All ages welcome!

Free Admission Friday Night
Providence Children’s Museum
Free admission for all on Friday nights 8/16 & 8/30 from 5pm-8pm! Stay out late and splash, play, explore and discover!
