FREE “Autism-Friendly Evening” at Discovery Museum on Saturday, April 27!
Come join in all the fun and explore the accessible Discovery Museum during this special evening event just for families with members on the autism spectrum. Your family can play, explore, experiment, and imagine together, while we are closed to the general public.
Experience Our Community Birds, a pop-up exhibit created by the Kindergarten and Sixth Grade Learning Partners at The Chestnut Hill School. Play a hands-on game, “Eat Like a Bird,” and meet student tour guides who will tell you about their work! Student tour guides will be available from 5:00 – 6:30pm.
You may want to prepare for your visit by downloading our Story Guide to Discovery Woods, and visiting the Exhibits section of our website. But, please note that Discovery Woods closes at dusk, and therefore will not be open for evening events during the winter months. Dinner, including gluten free options, is provided.
